Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Stepdown Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic stepdown nursing environment. This contract Registered Nurse opportunity provides a chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting patients transitioning from critical to general care, while working as an integral part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Schedule/Hours:
36 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
Current and active RN license Demonstrated experience in Stepdown or progressive care unit Proficiency in assessing and monitoring patients with acute and complex needs Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor, assess, and document patients' vital signs and clinical changes Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other clinical staff Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed Provide attentive support and patient education to both patients and family members Respond promptly to changes in patient status and intervene as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records ensuring compliance with hospital policies
