What they do

A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Night Shift Contract Job Overview Specialty:
Med-Surg / Telemetry (MS/Tele)
Shift:
Nights Patient Ratio:
1:5-1:6
Weekend Requirement:
Every other weekend
Floating:
Required (within clinical scope / like units)
On-Call:
None required
Locals:
Not accepted (Must reside > 50 miles from main campus)
Position Requirements Experience:
Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele RN experience
Licensure:
Active State RN License required (No pending licenses)
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Submission Note:
Candidate must provide interview availability upon profile submission
Contract & Facility Policies Guaranteed Hours:
Up to 2 shift call-offs allowed by facility per 13-week assignment; remaining contracted hours guaranteed
RTO Parameters:
Subject to manager discretion
Return Staff Policy:
Former staff must be gone at least 1 year to return as a traveler
Assignment Limit:
Max 2-contract limit (initial assignment + 1 extension); must be off-system for 6 months before returning
