1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring current IMC experience and NC or compact RN licensure. Details Staffing pool role providing flexible nursing coverage across all inpatient units and support for ED-held inpatients Night shift schedule, 7:00pm-7:00am 12-hour shifts, 4 days per week, 48 hours per week Every other weekend required Requires holiday coverage on a rotating basis May be placed on standby (SB1) status per pay period if census drops Utilizes tele monitoring, IV/PICC line care, IV insertion, tube care, and port management skills Requirements Active RN license in North Carolina or compact license BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required CPI-A and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS preferred Minimum of 2 years of current IMC experience required, and must be willing to accept IMC patients One year of general nursing experience required Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN required; BSN or MSN preferred PCU/IMC skills checklist required for consideration Additional Information Provides clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, coordinating patient care using the nursing process Responsibilities include patient education, discharge planning, care evaluation, and interdisciplinary collaboration Performs bedside point-of-care testing and prioritizes care for patients with complex needs Participates in unit performance improvement and cost-effective care initiatives Reports to the Nurse Manager/Director
