The ideal candidates will have homecare experience and be responsible for: This position is in the Hickory, NC area. Participating in care plan development in collaboration with the client and caregivers; Developing and documenting the plan of care and recording such documentation in the clients records and with other care partners as agreed upon; Orienting the caregiver to the plan of care and ensuring the caregiver is competent to participate in the care tasks assigned; Evaluating the home setting for safety and appropriateness related to the care needs identified; Evaluating the client's environment to determine what assistance will be available from the family members or other care givers so as to ensure client safety in the absence of agency personnel; Providing direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and agency policy and procedure; Supervising the provision of care by paraprofessional staff in accordance with applicable rules and regulations; Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
RN License in the state of North Carolina Experience in Home Health or Home Care.
