Schedule/Hours:
3x12-hour shifts Mid shifts: 1:00 PM-1:30 AM (potential to offer 3:00 PM-3:00 AM if needed) Every other weekend required (more often, if available) Holidays as needed In this role, you'll provide care in a fast-paced, combined adult and pediatric emergency department and have the unique experience of floating between sister EDs. You'll interact with professionals from diverse backgrounds, gaining invaluable experience that will enrich your resume and set you apart in your field.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' recent ER RN experience Comfortable working in both adult and pediatric settings Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred) Prior experience as Charge RN preferred Proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Skilled in phlebotomy and IV initiation Triage experience required Proficient in EPIC (Cerner experience preferred) Willingness to float to sister
Emergency Departments Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality patient care in a general emergency department setting Perform accurate triage and prioritization of cases Manage and interpret cardiac rhythms, including interventions as indicated Start IVs and perform phlebotomy Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Support a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and maintain exceptional documentation in
