Job Title:

Urgent Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Clinic Position Summary The Urgent Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting. This role supports providers in delivering timely and efficient care to patients with acute, non-life-threatening conditions. The RN is responsible for triage, clinical support, patient education, and coordination of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Schedule Three (3) 12-hour shifts per week Weekend rotation required based on staffing levels (e.g., 1:4 rotation) Weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) count as one (1) of the scheduled three 12-hour shifts Key Responsibilities Perform patient triage, including assessment of symptoms, vital signs, and prioritization of care Obtain and document patient medical histories accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments Administer medications, injections, and immunizations per provider orders and clinic protocols Perform point-of-care testing (e.g., COVID, flu, strep, urinalysis) and specimen collection Provide wound care, splinting, and other clinical interventions as appropriate Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, follow-up care, and discharge instructions Monitor patient flow to ensure efficiency and patient satisfaction Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions Maintain infection control and safety standards in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory guidelines Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure continuity and coordination of care Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (or compact state) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (urgent care, emergency, or outpatient setting strongly preferred) Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Additional Expectations Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and teamwork Maintains patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Adapts to changing patient volumes and staffing needs Supports a positive patient experience and clinic culture Join our team to make an impactful difference in patients' lives by delivering prompt, expert nursing care. Pay:

$30.00 - $32.00 per hour
