The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The PMH RN works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable. Per diem available.

Details Pay Rate:

$50/hr - $53/hr depending on facility

Full Time, Part Time, PRN Shift:

7A - 7P, 7P-7A, 8A-8P, 8P-8

A Minimum Requirements:

Graduate from an approved Registered Nursing Program (RN) required. Experienced candidates receive a higher starting wage. Clear and active RN Licensure in the state of practice required. Active

CPR /BLS

Certification required. TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Covid Vaccination Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Resume, start date, and requested time off for submission Psych experience needed. Group Home experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Provides direct patient care. Providing care for patients and residents. Acquaints patients with necessary information. Assures that all procedures are completed accurately. Maintains records of patient visits, tests, etc... May perform other duties as assigned.
