Category Nursing - RN-Stepdown Job Type Contract Elevate patient care in a dynamic stepdown environment as a Registered Nurse specializing in progressive care. This contract opportunity is designed for experienced professionals who excel in providing advanced monitoring and support to patients transitioning from critical care. The setting emphasizes teamwork, clinical excellence, and compassionate support.
Schedule/Hours:
36 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license in good standing Recent experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit Proficiency in patient assessment, cardiac monitoring, and evidence-based interventions Strong critical thinking and adaptability to fast-paced environments ACLS and BLS certifications (required) Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to stepdown patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing complex care plans Respond swiftly to changes in patient condition and coordinate with healthcare providers for optimal outcomes Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and interventions in electronic medical records Educate patients and their families about care processes, recovery, and continuing health management Ensure compliance with all facility protocols, infection prevention measures, and safety standards
