Category Nursing - RN-Stepdown Job Type Contract Make an impact in a dynamic Stepdown nursing role, providing advanced care for patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions. Schedule:
36 hours per week
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license with Stepdown experience BLS and ACLS certifications Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Previous nursing experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit settings
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Stepdown patients, including frequent monitoring of vital signs and responding swiftly to changes in condition Administer medications, perform therapeutic treatments, and assist in complex procedures Collaborate proactively with physicians, case managers, and the broader healthcare team to coordinate and optimize patient care Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care instructions Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in patient records Uphold safety and infection control standards at all times
