The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, including experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) systems, advanced obstetric procedures such as botulinum toxin treatment, and a passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods, ensuring safety and comfort for both mother and newborn. Utilize advanced clinical skills such as IV infusion, suturing, catheterization, and aseptic technique to support patient needs effectively. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other specialists to coordinate patient care plans. Monitor vital signs, perform physical examinations, and assess fetal well-being using telemetry and other diagnostic tools. Administer medications accurately, including pain management therapies and specialized treatments like botulinum toxin injections when applicable. Document all patient interactions thoroughly within EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives aligned with NCQA standards and ensure compliance with infection control protocols. Support patients through discharge planning, education on postpartum care, and follow-up procedures to promote optimal recovery outcomes. $1,917.45 - $3,000.00 per week
