Contract | Local & Travel Candidates Welcome 1. Mandatory Requirements to Apply Active New Hampshire RN license. BLS certification required. Previous Psychiatric / Behavioral Health nursing experience required Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7 PM-7 AM). Strong psychiatric assessment, medication management, therapeutic communication, crisis intervention, and de-escalation skills. Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a short-term acute inpatient psychiatric setting. 2. Roles & Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients receiving short-term acute inpatient geriatric psychiatric and behavioral health care. Perform psychiatric and nursing assessments, monitor patient conditions, and communicate changes to the healthcare team. Administer medications and monitor patient responses while supporting medication optimization and improved quality of life. Use therapeutic communication, crisis intervention, and behavioral de-escalation techniques to support patients. Collaborate with providers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote patient stabilization, safety, treatment planning, and discharge planning. 3. Bonus & Benefits +

Salary Pay:

$56.00-$68.00/hr 12-hour night shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM 8 to 13 -week contract Local and travel candidates accepted

Pay:

$1,990.80 - $2,448.00 per week Application Question(s): Experience in geriatric psychiatry, acute inpatient psychiatry, behavioral health, or mental health nursing strongly preferred. Experience with Oracle EMR is preferred.
