Job Description
Come work at the best place to give and receive care! GI practice is growing and last six months have opened the Elliot Hospital Digestive Health Center of Excellence. Meaning we will be incorporating more patient education, navigation and support especially for those with IBD. Position Summary - Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Delivers care to patients and families with needs ranging from basic to complex utilizing the nursing process. Creates a therapeutic and caring environment for patient and families. Practices in a manner consistent with the Elliot Hospital Interprofessional Practice model; the ANA's Social Policy Statement, Scope and Standards of Practice, and the Nursing Code of Ethics; and relevant specialty standards of practice. Key Responsibilities Daily duties for the job will rotate and include phone triage, medication reconciliation and refilling, educating patients on results and plan of care per the provider. Preparing patients for consultations and follow-ups is another part of the routine tasks.
Education/Experience/Licensure Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's of Science in Nursing preferred.
Licensure:
New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State Registered Nurse License.
Technical Certification:
Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment. ACLS preferred.
