The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Our physicians and staff offer years of experience and operate out of three locations that are convenient to area residents. We emphasize expert diagnosis, treatment and early intervention for those at greatest risk. The 5-Diamond Patient Safety Program was developed as an innovative training and recognition program to assist dialysis providers in increasing awareness and building a culture of safety among patients. Joining RWJBarnabas Health means joining a community where every RN is encouraged to grow, innovate, and lead with purpose As a Registered Nurse (RN), a typical day may include: The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and administers individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports the philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities. A bachelor's degree in nursing is strongly preferred. This position offers a per diem evening schedule. A minimum of one year dialysis experience is required. Must be able to perform hemodialysis treatments in accordance with MD orders and protocols. Must be able to adhere to strict infection control practices. Knowledge of water treatment systems and dialysis safety standards.
