Nursing Specialty:

Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN RN

NICU Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide specialized nursing care to premature, critically ill, and medically fragile newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Monitor vital signs, oxygen levels, cardiac rhythms, and overall patient condition, responding promptly to changes or emergencies. Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered, and safely operate and monitor neonatal equipment such as ventilators, incubators, and cardiac monitors. Collaborate with neonatologists, physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide individualized, high-quality patient care. Assist with feeding, nutrition, hygiene, and developmental care while maintaining a safe and infection-controlled environment. Provide education, communication, and emotional support to parents and families regarding the newborn's condition and plan of care.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field. NJ RN or compact license active and on file Minimum 2 years recent NICU experience. Prior travel expeirnce is strongly preferred. Active BLS and NRP certifications required. Additional certifications may be required Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
