Orthopedic Registered Nurse - Phone Triage

Job Description

Our client, a well-established and growing Orthopedic practice in the Ridgewood area, needs a Phone Triage RN. This is not a remote position. In this role as a Phone Triage Nurse you will be responsible for utilizing your assessment skills to evaluate patient's reasons for calling and assess the urgency of the situation. You will be serving as a nurse navigator, providing individualized patient care, communicating and interacting with patients and families as well as recognizing situations that may require immediate physician attention. You will be responsible for ordering and dispensing medications as per doctor's orders. This position is working in fast paced, orthopedic practice with an excellent benefit package that includes PTO, Healthcare, and 401k. To qualify for the Phone Triage Nurse position you must be a registered Nurse and have at least 1 year of Orthopedic Nursing experience. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday(no weekends) working either 8:30am to 4:30pm or 9am to 5pm. Hourly pay for this position range is $40 - $44/hr. $40.00 - $44.00 per hour
