Qualifications and Experience:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey Prior experience working in school health settings highly preferred Familiarity with care planning, electronic health records, and immunization compliance Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills CPR and First Aid certification Ability to work independently and collaborate with teachers, staff, and familiesKey Responsibilities:
Deliver prompt nursing care to students with acute and chronic health needs Administer medications, manage health plans, and respond to student emergencies as required Conduct routine health screenings, maintain accurate health records, and support immunization programs Partner with educators to implement health education initiatives for students and staff Act as a resource for health-related information, supporting a safe and inclusive school environment Communicate effectively with families regarding health concerns, care instructions, and referrals This opportunity allows you to make a significant impact by advocating for the health and safety of students while working alongside a dedicated faculty.
