We're looking for an experienced Appointment Veterinary Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll help create a smooth and welcoming experience for our clients, patients, and doctors. From the moment they enter an exam room until their visit is complete. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, comfortable handling animals, and confident juggling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced veterinary hospital. What You'll Do Welcome clients and their pets with a friendly, professional attitude Escort clients and patients into exam rooms Obtain thorough patient histories Start invoices and prepare estimates Maintain accurate records of visits, treatments, medications, and other relevant information Safely restrain patients for examinations and in-room procedures Assist veterinarians with patient care as needed Prepare vaccines and puppy and kitten packs Help keep appointments running smoothly and efficiently Provide excellent communication and customer service What We're Looking For Previous veterinary experience Excellent communication and organizational skills The ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment Confidence handling and restraining dogs and cats A positive attitude and genuine passion for helping animals and their people Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Must be at least 18 years old Rabies vaccination is a pre-employment requirement; candidates must already be vaccinated or be able to complete the series before their first day of work If you're energetic, compassionate, and ready to be an important part of the patient-care experience, we'd love to meet you!
