9651228-87026 Job Description Step into a dynamic, student-centered setting supporting both elementary and middle school learners (serving approximately 300 students) as a contract Registered Nurse. This onsite health office role is essential in maintaining the daily well-being of a diverse school community while working closely with educators and students. In this pivotal position, you will: Oversee the health office on-site, ensuring the safety and care of all students Administer daily medications, including epinephrine for severe allergies Respond confidently to health emergencies, including managing seizures Develop trusting relationships with students, staff, and families Maintain thorough, timely health records and documentation Educate staff and students on wellness topics and manage health conditions Communicate with families and healthcare professionals to coordinate care Qualifications and desired experience: Valid RN license with active registration Previous experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred Competence in medication administration and emergency response Knowledge of care protocols for seizures and allergies (epi-pen use) Strong communication and organizational skills Compassionate, approachable, and adaptable to a school environment Enjoy meaningful work Monday through Friday throughout your contract, with the chance to positively impact the lives of elementary and middle school students.
