As a Registered Nurse, you'll provide vital care to a close-knit school community of approximately 300 students, making a positive impact each day. Your professional expertise will be essential as you address varied needs such as seizure response, medication administration, and allergy management with the use of EpiPens. Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure a safe, nurturing environment where students can thrive academically and personally. Ideal qualifications and desired experience include: Active RN license, with prior school nursing experience highly valued Knowledge of pediatric medication administration and emergency protocols Confidence to handle seizures and allergic reactions calmly and efficiently Strong communication skills for interacting with students, families, and faculty Compassionate approach and dedication to child well-being Ability to maintain accurate health records and manage confidential information Key responsibilities: Provide direct onsite nursing care to elementary and middle school students Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions Respond promptly to health emergencies including seizures and allergic reactions Maintain clear communication with staff, students, and their guardians Educate students and staff on wellness, injury prevention, and healthy practices Ensure all health office protocols comply with current state and district regulations Youll enjoy competitive hourly pay ranging from $38-48, plus comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401(k) retirement plan.
