9651228-87007 Job Description If youre an experienced Registered Nurse passionate about supporting student health and wellness, an exciting onsite contract opportunity awaits. Youll provide direct care in a school health office serving both elementary and middle school students (total enrollment of around 300) in a vibrant educational setting. This multifaceted role involves assessing and responding to routine and urgent health needs, including seizure interventions, medication administration, and managing conditions requiring emergency responses such as using epi-pens. Your day will bring rewarding interactions as you promote healthy habits, address acute issues, and empower a young student population. Youll also collaborate closely with school staff and families to create a safe, inclusive environment for all students.

Key Requirements:

Current and active RN license Experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting desired Strong assessment, clinical, and emergency response skills Proficiency with medication administration (including seizure management and use of epi-pens) Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with students, families, and staff Comfortable working independently in a dynamic onsite environment

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver skilled nursing care and first aid for students and staff Administer medications and delegate care as appropriate Monitor, document, and respond to acute and chronic health issues Maintain health records and ensure confidentiality Educate students and staff on health, safety, and wellness topics Interface with faculty and guardians to coordinate care plans
