1 Description American Traveler is hiring a
CVICU RN
with required experience in POD 0 Open Hearts, IABP, and Impella for a 13-week contract requiring an active NV RN license. Details Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) setting 3x12 day shifts scheduled 0645-1915 Call required 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment Requirements Active RN license in NV required BLS and ACLS certification (AHA only) required NIHSS certification required Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience in a US hospital required Required experience with POD 0 Open Hearts, IABP, and Impella clearly listed on resume Strong organizational and leadership skills required Thorough knowledge of arrhythmia management, pathophysiology, and hemodynamics required Ability to give expert analysis and assess patient conditions in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment Additional Information Provide expert nursing care for post-operative open heart and complex cardiovascular patients Communicate, coordinate, and delegate effectively within a high-acuity care team Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted
