Job Description

Experience:
12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months. 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience. Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Hawaii license (required for submission). This role will require floating to multiple units COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. No current placement allowed at
Program:
Medefis Program - Hawaii Health Systems Corp - Kona. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
Will need to arrive at the facility the Friday prior to start date.
Required Skills/Experience:
ER and ICU experience required to be considered.
Unit Details:
Primary care of ER and ICU patients. Duties may include expediting on other floors, sitting with patients, helping with transport, telemetry monitoring, and serving on the rapid response and code blue team as needed.
Shift & Scheduling:
Facility's schedule is listed as 3x12s, but clinicians should expect to work 2x12s one week and 4x12s the next week (and so on.) 12-hour shifts on evenings and nights. 72-80 hours per 2 weeks. Holidays as required.
Floating Requirements:
May float to other nursing units not as a primary nurse, to assist as needed. 14 days maximum time off 1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
