Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - CVOR Job Type Contract Exceptional opportunities are available for a Registered Nurse with Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) expertise. This contract position focuses on delivering specialized perioperative care within a dynamic surgical environment. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, surgical techs, and fellow nursing professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current, unencumbered RN license Demonstrated experience in a CVOR setting, including familiarity with advanced cardiovascular surgical procedures Proficiency in aseptic technique, circulating, and scrubbing roles within the operating room Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills BLS and ACLS certifications required
Schedule:
Consistent, contract-based assignment with clearly defined hours
Key Responsibilities:
Support cardiovascular surgical teams by managing instruments, supplies, and patient documentation Respond rapidly to evolving patient needs during procedures, ensuring safety and meticulous attention to sterile protocols Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively and provide vigilant post-anesthesia support Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to execute complex CVOR protocols, contributing to seamless surgical workflows Maintain accurate electronic health records and assist with patient education related to surgical care
