Overview Registered Nurse, Float Pool, Geneva, NY, starting 09/21/2026 for 23 weeks, $2,272-$2,341 per week, guaranteed hours 0.0, shift 3x12 Nights, Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. This travel assignment requires cross-unit proficiency and the ability to float across multiple care areas including med/surg, ICU, ER, and other units as needed.
Key Highlights Weekly pay:
$2,272-$2,341 per week Contract duration: 23 weeks
Shift:
3x12 Night shifts (7:00 PM-7:30 AM) Start date: 09/21/2026
Rotations:
Holidays and every-other-weekend coverage; 2 on-call shifts per 4-week cycle
Setting:
Short Term Acute Care Hospital; cross-trained for multi-unit support Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care across multiple units (med/surg, ICU, ER, MS/MST) per unit guidelines Assess patients, monitor status, interpret data, and implement care plans Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; manage IVs and line care as appropriate Respond to emergencies, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and escalate as needed Document accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure charting reflects current patient status Maintain patient safety, comfort, and dignity; support age-appropriate care for adult and geriatric populations Maintain competency across assigned units through orientation and ongoing practice
Requirements Licenses:
Current New York State RN license
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS
required (through American Heart Association or equivalent; NIHSS required per orientation; CPI certification within 90 days; basic coronary care within 6 months)
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care units

Comfort floating to
ICU/ER/MS/MST
