This contract position offers the chance to work alongside skilled professionals, supporting patients with cardiac and vascular procedures. Your expertise will contribute to safe, efficient care delivery during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year recent experience in a Cath Lab setting ACLS and BLS certifications (required) Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy, procedures, and medications Proficiency with monitoring and documentation equipment used in Cath Lab Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational abilities Calm demeanor, flexibility, and collaborative mindset in high-pressure environments
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures Administer medications as directed and monitor for adverse reactions Assist physicians and other team members during complex interventions Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab technology and equipment Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with hospital standards Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, risks, and post-procedure care Adhere strictly to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols This contract role provides a valuable opportunity to hone your clinical skills, gain specialized expertise, and make a real difference for patients.
