This contract role offers immediate placement in a health office setting, providing essential support to students and staff. Coverage is needed through December 23, with the potential to extend should internal hiring not occur, giving you both stability and flexibility.

Key Qualifications:

Active RN license in New York State Prior experience working in schools or pediatric settings strongly preferred Proficiency in triage, basic first aid, medication administration, and emergency procedures Strong communication and organizational skills Comfort with documenting care and maintaining confidential health records Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff, students, and parents

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver daily nursing care to students and staff within the health office Assess, triage, and manage acute and chronic health issues during school hours Administer prescribed medications and implement physician-ordered treatments Monitor immunization compliance and support school health policies Maintain accurate, up-to-date health records and documentation Serve as a liaison between families, healthcare providers, and school personnel Respond to medical emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed Educate students and staff on wellness, hygiene, and disease prevention Whats in Store for
