Schedule/Hours:

3x12 hour day shifts per week Call requirements: approximately 3-4 weeknight calls and one 24-hour weekend call per 8-week period (subject to change based on staffing) Weeknight call: 9:00 pm - 7:00 am Weekend call: 7:00 am - 7:00 am Shifts range: 6:00 am-6:30 pm, 7:00 am-7:30 pm, 8:00 am-8:30 pm, 9:00 am-9:30 pm

Desired Qualifications:

Active RN license with proficiency in PACU nursing Prior experience in preoperative and post-anesthesia settings strongly preferred Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care for surgical patients throughout preoperative preparation and post-anesthesia recovery Thoroughly monitor patients' status, manage pain, and rapidly respond to emergent needs Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary staff Document all nursing interventions and changes in patient condition accurately
