Category Nursing - RN-Stepdown Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in Stepdown and Telemetry care. This contract position is ideal for professionals comfortable with high-acuity patients and seeking to further their clinical expertise.

Schedule:

3x12-hour night shifts each week

Qualifications:

Current RN license in good standing Minimum of 1 year experience in a Stepdown, Telemetry, or Progressive Care unit ACLS certification required Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills Ability to perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, and lifting Excellent communication abilities with a team-centered attitude

Responsibilities:

Provide patient-centered care for those needing close observation and advanced monitoring Maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios: 3:1 on Stepdown, 5:1 during day shifts, and 6:1 during night shifts Perform thorough assessments and execute individualized care plans Administer medications and monitor patient responses Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes Document all care provided accurately and timely
