Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Contract Experience dynamic nursing practice in a well-supported progressive care environment! This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses with strong skills in Stepdown, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical settings. Care for a diverse patient population and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Schedule:
3 x 12-hour night shifts
Qualifications:
Active RN license Demonstrated experience in Stepdown, Telemetry, or Med Surg units ACLS certification required Proficient in patient assessments and care planning Ability to safely perform pushing, pulling, and lifting duties Strong communication skills and commitment to effective teamwork
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care to a Stepdown patient population, maintaining a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio on night shifts Conduct routine assessments, monitor vital signs, and ensure early identification of changes in patient condition Administer medications accurately and document interventions promptly Develop, update, and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals for comprehensive, coordinated care Support patients through every phase of their hospital stay, advocating for their physical and emotional well-being Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team to foster a supportive and transparent environment This contract position offers a unique opportunity to sharpen your clinical skills in fast-paced Stepdown and Telemetry units, working alongside highly skilled peers.
