Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and intervention Prepare patients for surgical procedures and monitor patient status throughout the perioperative process Maintain sterile technique, infection prevention standards, and accurate surgical documentation Coordinate care and communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, perioperative staff, patients, and families Support patient flow, quality improvement efforts, safety initiatives, and assigned call coverage

Qualifications:

2+ years of Acute Care experience Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Active New York State RN license BLS certification Experience in an Operating Room role/setting

Desired Skills:

AORN certification Surgical Nursing experience
