Job Description

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our mission-driven team. In this role, you'll provide high-acuity care to diverse ER patients in hospitals nationwide, performing rapid assessments, triage, medication administration, and emergency interventions. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, adapt quickly to new environments, and uphold strict safety and quality standards. We offer supportive, people-focused staffing, professional growth opportunities, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patients and communities across the U.S. Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced ER setting Triage, assess, and monitor patients, recognizing and responding to life-threatening conditions Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders and protocols Operate and monitor emergency equipment, including cardiac monitors, ventilators, and defibrillators Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions Maintain infection control, safety, and quality standards in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines Adapt quickly to new facilities, workflows, and teams as a travel nurse assignment changes Support Supplemental Health Care's mission-driven, patient-centered culture and uphold professional ethics Required Skills Emergency nursing Triage and rapid assessment ACLS protocols
