Overview RN - Emergency Department Float Pool (Part time position - MUST attend a full two week Monday through Friday orientation) St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center® is New York State's only specialty designated cardiac center. We are seeking a flexible, highly skilled Emergency Department (ED) Float Pool RN to join our nursing team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality, adaptable care across various nursing units based on daily hospital needs. Job Details Responsibilities Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for cardiac telemetry step down patients (including conditions such as chest pains, positive troponin, Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), and arrhythmias) Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses / RNs and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education. ACLS and BLS required from the American Heart Association Posted Salary Range USD $58.16 - USD $83.99 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
