Join Our Team as an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse - Make a Difference in Patient Care We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an IR RN, you will play a crucial part in supporting patients through complex procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes. Required Skills:
Valid New York State (NYS) RN license Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in Emergency Room (ER) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) NIHSS certification at the time of submission Must have completed at least 6 CEUs on Stroke-related topics prior to start Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities Nice to
Have Skills:
Travel nursing experience Additional certifications related to radiology or vascular access Experience with interventional procedures and imaging modalities
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred Prior experience in interventional radiology, ER, or ICU settings Familiarity with stroke care protocols and emergency response
Other Requirements:
No weekend or on-call responsibilities Availability for Monday-Friday shifts, with alternating 8-hour or 10-hour days Willingness to travel within the local area is advantageous Ability to meet continuing education requirements prior to start date This position offers competitive pay at $35 per hour, with a weekly per diem of $1246 based on 40 hours.
