Registered Nurse Med Surg Per Diem Join Our Team and make a difference within your comunity! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital in Springville, NY. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide high-quality care focused on rural healthcare. About the Role As a Registered Nurse on our Med-Surg unit, you will: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of all assigned patients Care for patients across the age continuum Manage comprehensive patient history, including patient interview, psychological and physical assessment, and patient's perception of illness Manage a written care plan for assigned patients on the unit, plans the care for individual patients, and directs and supervises others in the planning of patient's care Work 3 scheduled 12 hour shifts (Day & Night); pick up additional shifts as needed Requirements AAS Nursing BSN preferred Active valid NYS RN License BLS/CPR What Our Employees Love About Working at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital Quiet country setting in a beautiful village Free Parking Walking distance to great restaurants and shops Great community support Growing medical services for our region About Us Bertrand Chaffee Hospital is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential health resources to our community.
