POSITION SUMMARY & PURPOSE

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers both direct and indirect care in detox and residential settings to patients (14 bed capacity) undergoing substance use treatment, while working in collaboration with a diverse team. This role requires assessing and reporting signs and symptoms indicating psychological changes, contributing to each patient's individual treatment plan, and documenting changes and interventions.

Duties include:

Implementing treatment plans Patient admissions and discharges Medication administration Health Screening Assessments Caseload management Nursing documentation and incident reporting Patient withdraw monitoring and supervision Coordinating medical services Utilizing de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques Health education IV insertion and blood draw capabilities

EDUCATIONAL & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

The Registered Nurse requires a minimum of an Associates Degree in Nursing, along with: Active RN license in good standing 1 year of general nursing experience Previous psychiatric and/or substance experience (highly preferred ) De-escalation/crisis intervention experience (preferred) IV insertion and blood draw capabilities, or willingness to learn Must be open-minded, flexible, and willing to take direction Valid driver's license or reliable transportation Valid CPR/First Aid certifications, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire High level of confidentiality Exceptional display of verbal and written communication Ability to successfully pass a background and drug screen

Pay:

$35.00 - $37.00 per hour
