1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring a minimum of 18 months of recent ED experience and an active OH or compact RN license. Details Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Requirements Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) in hand at time of consideration Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) TNCC and NIHSS certifications preferred Minimum of 18 months of recent Emergency Department experience required Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty required One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applying specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months Co-worker references not accepted Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with up to two attempts to achieve a passing score PBDS assessment is waived for this position Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate Assignments capped at 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location Permanent and per diem employees must wait 1 year from their previous end date before returning to Cleveland Clinic hospitals First-time travelers not considered for this position due to experience requirements
