Qualifications RN License BLS Certification Full Job Description Role:

Registered Nurse in a Critical Care Step Down Unit, providing high-quality, patient-centered care for conditions such as congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis.

Responsibilities:

Utilize skills such as EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies). Monitor patients using advanced technology, including telemetry, virtual whiteboards, and patient lifts. Collaborate with healthcare team members including PCNAs, interns, providers, PT, and OT. Apply critical thinking, delegation, and time management to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current RN licensure in Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS certification within six months. One year of relevant RN experience for PRN role; all certifications required at hire.

Skills & Preferences:

Strong clinical skills, certifications, with a preference for BSN and Magnet-recognized certifications.
