Qualifications RN License BLS Certification Full Job Description Role:

Registered Nurse in a Critical Care Step Down Unit ( 7 West ) responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population, including those with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize skills in EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures such as endoscopies and bronchoscopies. Monitor patients using advanced technology like telemetry, virtual whiteboards, and patient lifts. Collaborate with healthcare team members including nursing assistants, interns, providers, PT, and OT. Apply critical thinking, delegation, and time management to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current RN licensure in Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS within 6 months. PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience and all certifications at hire.

Preferred Skills:

BSN degree and professional certification recognized by the Magnet designation.
