2 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN Circulator requiring an Ohio or compact RN license, BSN/AND, and at least one year of OR experience, for a fast-paced 8-suite cardiovascular operating room. Details CVOR unit with 8 operating room suites Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) On-call requirement of at least 1-2 days per week and a minimum of one weekend per month (Fri-Sun), plus heart call as assigned May float between two hospital campuses at facility discretion Uses Epic EMR Requirements Valid Ohio RN license or compact license accepted BSN or ADN required Current CPR certification required ACLS certification required Minimum one year of OR experience required Must be willing to work with acutely ill patients, including emergency situations Able to work independently and as part of a team, including charge nurse duties as assigned Additional Information Functions as a CVOR Circulator supporting cardiovascular surgical cases Coordinates and directs care delivered by the interdisciplinary team Maintains high standards of patient care based on evidence-based principles and scope of practice Provides physical, emotional, and support to patients and families Practice must remain consistent with Ohio Board of Nursing standards and regulations Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted for this specialty
