Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered RN license At least one year of recent Cath Lab RN experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Excellent critical thinking and communication skills Comfort with electronic health records and rapidly changing situations
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other interventional procedures Monitor patients status and vital signs throughout procedures Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care and education Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and safety protocols Accurately document interventions and findings in electronic medical records
