In this contract role, you will assess, triage, and stabilize patients in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with physicians and care teams. Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in fast-paced ER settings Triage patients, administer medications, and perform emergency interventions per physician orders and protocols Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Operate and monitor ER equipment, including cardiac monitors, IV pumps, and ventilators Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately in electronic health records Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions Adapt quickly to new hospital environments, policies, and workflows while on travel assignments Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards at all times Support a culture of transparency, accountability, and teamwork aligned with Fusion Medical Staffing values Participate in ongoing professional development and skills enhancement opportunities Required Skills Emergency nursing care Triage and rapid assessment IV insertion and medication administration Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition Ventilator and airway management support Wound care and trauma management Electronic health records (EHR) documentation ACLS and BLS protocol execution Pediatric emergency care (PALS/ENPC) Infection control and patient safety compliance
