Qualifications & Experience:

Active RN license required Prior school nursing experience or familiarity with pediatric care preferred Strong assessment, triage, and documentation skills Ability to develop and implement care plans for students with acute and chronic health concerns Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities Current CPR certification

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to students, managing health issues, injuries, and chronic conditions during school hours Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school protocols Maintain accurate health records and thorough documentation of services provided Support the development and implementation of individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) Collaborate with educators, counselors, families, and outside healthcare providers to promote optimal student well-being Educate students and staff on health topics, safety protocols, and preventive care Respond promptly to health emergencies and participate in crisis interventions as needed Uphold confidentiality and comply with relevant federal, state, and district guidelines By contributing your expertise and compassion, you'll help foster an environment where every student can thrive inside and outside the classroom.
