Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include: Responsible for providing professional nursing care for clinic patients under the direction of a Physician(s) and within their scope of practice according to the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Performs patient assessment and triage, either in person or over the phone. Assists in all phases of patient care including admitting, assisting during procedures, and recovery. Accurately handles all specimens, completes laboratory request forms, and verifies information is correct. Ensures equipment and supplies are cleaned, sterilized, and maintains medical inventory of supplies when needed. Updating records as needed. Assisting with the overall delivery of patient care in the department. Other duties as assigned.
Salary:
Hiring range, based on experience and credentials:
Level I:
$47.53-$64.31 per hour.
Level II:
$52.29-$70.74 per hour.
Workdays:
This position is primarily located at the Gastroenterology Endoscopy Center in South Tualatin, with weekly travel coverage to the Gastroenterology Endoscopy Center in South Oregon City. Typical on-call hours are from Monday to Friday, consisting of 10-hour shifts, with three required Fridays each month as assigned. Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience, and values, including: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is strongly preferred. Specialty Care GI Experience is a plus! Current Oregon state licensure as a Registered Nurse. Current ACLS/BLS or within 60 days of hire. Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred. Epic experience is a plus! Excellent attendance and work ethic. Positive attitude and desire to be a team player. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members. A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.
