1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Infusion RN for an outpatient oncology/hematology setting requiring PA or compact RN licensure and infusion center experience. Details Work in an outpatient Infusion Center treating adult oncology and hematology patients Administer chemotherapy, iron infusions, transfusions, and IV fluids Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM No weekend, on-call, or float requirements Uses Epic charting system Requirements Active RN license (PA or compact) required at time of consideration BLS certification required; Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) and Oncology certification preferred Minimum 2 years of infusion center experience required Skilled in IV therapy, port access and management, and starting/maintaining IVs Experience administering blood and blood products, coagulation factors, and chemotherapy (IV push, oral, and monitoring) preferred Experience with infusion pump management and central line blood draws preferred Knowledge of chemotherapy-related medications including antiemetics, antitumor agents, corticosteroids, hormonal therapy, and Neupogen preferred Ability to recognize and communicate abnormal lab values preferred Previous travel nursing experience required Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced outpatient oncology/hematology infusion setting Navy blue scrubs required Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius, though local candidates are accepted at a different rate PA fingerprinting and Childline clearance required within 12 months of start date Pass/Fail clinical exam not required for this outpatient infusion position RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; no additional time off can be accommodated after submission
