We are looking for qualified nurses to fill substitute nurse position within the Elizabethtown Area School District. These are flexible assignments that allow for per diem work. This position could support 1/1 student medical care in the classroom or supporting in the Nurse suite per district need. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to students and staff in educational settings. Collaborate with school administrators and health professionals to ensure optimal health services. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the school environment. Participate in continuous professional development to enhance nursing skills. Qualifications Valid nursing license Proven experience in hospital or emergency settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of patient care protocols and medical terminology. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Experience working in school settings is advantageous.
