For more information, visit towerhealth.org The Reading Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practitioner for the Neurocritical Care Dept. The Neurocritical Care Advanced Practice Professional (APP) operates as a clinical expert in the intensive care unit. They work collaboratively with the neurocritical care intensivist to perform timely stroke and neurological critical care management. The Neurocritical Care APP acts as a liaison for patient care and communication between the patient and family, consulting services, multidisciplinary services, and nursing staff. They perform procedures under the supervising physician such as central line placement, arterial line placement, bronchoscopy, and lumbar puncture. They perform history and physicals, daily progress notes, admission orders, and daily orders under their scope of practice. The Neurocritical Care APP coordinates transfer of service once critical care management is complete.
