At Vista Care , we empower individuals with intellectual, developmental, and mental health needs to thrive in community settings. As our Shared Living RN , you will enjoy the autonomy of working ~75% remotely while serving as the lead clinical expert—mentoring Host Home Providers, teaching health protocols, and ensuring top-tier medical care across Colorado.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Mentorship & Delegation:
Train and oversee Host Home Providers on delegated nursing tasks per the Nurse Practice Act; lead medical intake and discharge transitions.
Education & Medication Safety:
Teach state-approved Medication Administration courses, oversee prescription disbursement and disposal workflows, and review medication errors.
Quality & Compliance:
Perform clinical record audits, collaborate with community medical professionals, and ensure full compliance with state health regulations and HIPAA.
Qualifications Licensure & Education:
Active State RN license; ADN or BSN degree; current CPR/First Aid certification.
Experience:
Background with IDD or Mental Health populations preferred; strong computer proficiency required.
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License; ability to pass background checks (criminal, Medicaid/Medicare fraud, employment verification) and a drug screen (if applicable). Travel throughout the state required 25% of the time. Mileage reimbursement or rental car provided based on distance. Available 20 hours per week.
