Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and currently licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of Louisiana.EXPERIENCE
Minimum of one year experience as an RN; home health experience is preferred.QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledgeable of nursing assessment skills Competent in the provision of nursing care Excellent observation and assessment skills and good nursing judgment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Current CPR Certification
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides skilled professional nursing assessments and care to patients in their place of residence. Using the nursing process of assessment, develops a plan of care and monitors the patients physiological state to determine an appropriate level of safety and comfort. Partners with patients and their caregivers to develop a rehabilitation goal aimed at reaching the patient's highest level of functional ability. Teaches the patient/family disease process and self-care needs. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
