Our Colonial Heights, Virginia location ( James River Cardiology ) is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing clinical team. What You'll Do:

As an RN/LPN at AlignedCardio/James RIver Cardiology , you'll play a key role in providing exceptional cardiovascular care by: Assessing patients and documenting medical histories Obtaining accurate vital signs and preparing patients for examinations Assisting providers during office visits and clinical procedures Administering medications and injections as ordered Performing EKGs and assisting with cardiac diagnostic testing Educating patients on medications, treatment plans, and heart-healthy lifestyles Coordinating patient care and communicating with providers, pharmacies, and outside facilities Responding to patient phone calls and electronic messages regarding clinical concerns Maintaining accurate electronic medical records (EMR) Ensuring compliance with HIPAA, safety standards, and clinical protocols

What We're Looking For:

Current Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) Previous outpatient or cardiology experience is preferred but not required Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care
