Role:
As an Infection Control and Staff Development Nurse at Stillwater Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents while also supporting the growth and development of our staff. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring infection control policies and procedures, conducting staff training and education programs, and providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain infection control policies and procedures to prevent and control infections among residents and staff Conduct regular surveys and monitoring activities to identify and address potential infection control risks Design and deliver training programs for staff on infection control best practices, infection prevention and control, and disease transmission prevention Collaborate with the quality improvement team to identify and implement process improvements to reduce infection rates and promote a culture of safety Provide guidance and support to staff on infection control protocols, protocols for infection diagnosis and treatment, and protocols for reporting and documenting infections Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses related to infections Develop and maintain accurate records and reports related to infection control activities

Pay:
$49.00 - $52.00 per hour
